This experiment ties in with Episode 114 on Phantom Limb and mirror neurons. As in all of our episodes, this is for entertainment purposes only, it is however based on actual experiments called the "rubber hand illusion" if you want to learn more. We had similiar outcomes with Naomi picturing her actual hand being brushed and feeling sensation on the phantom limb when no actual touch was happening on her real hand. Pretty cool stuff!
Yes, Macie made Naomi get a knife ahead of time and just made her be okay with that.
